I have always loved creating and making crafts since I can remember.
Growing up in Nigeria, I was always designing, drawing, and crafting, fascinated by how simple items could be transformed into something beautiful and unique. I loved celebrating every family birthday, cutting up papers and decorations to make each day special.
It was all about the joy of crafting something uniquely beautiful.

My family sends yearly aid to single mothers in Nigeria, providing financial support to help them start or grow their businesses.
I adore Halloween, love dressing up, and make silly-themed desserts, but I’m too scared to watch horror movies.
At 17, I trained under a master dressmaker who specialized in wedding gowns. I devoted countless hours to delicate needlework and adorning lace with sequins—tasks some might find tedious, but I found intoxicating. The sheer joy on brides’ faces when they tried on their gowns was priceless and sparked my lifelong passion for weddings.
A Journey to America and Rediscovering My Passion
At 19, I packed my bags and moved to America to study Pharmacy. Even with the intense coursework, my passion for design never wavered. After graduating and starting my career, I got engaged and was excited to design my own dream wedding. My maid of honor saw how much I loved it and urged me to start a business. At first, I brushed it off, but I knew I had the skills and passion. So, I took the leap.
The Birth of U&I Design
My friend saw my potential and introduced me to Tina, a friend of her sister who needed help with her wedding. That was my big break, leading to the birth of U&I Event Design. Now, I channel my lifelong passion for design and creativity into crafting stunning, personalized wedding floral designs that make every bride feel special on her big day.
